As I promised in my corporate identity series, more exactly my Corporate Identity Ramblings, Corporate Identity On The Web, Corporate Identity Guidelines For Me, More Branding Research, and Corporate Identity For The Web articles, here is the final result of the Butterfly Media Romania logo changing.

See the final general guidelines for branding and corporate identity, which are not by far the best or the most accurate, but they are mine. A large company has a marketing and branding department which deals with something like this, however Butterfly Media Romania is still small.

  1. The Butterfly logo has been chosen after 6 months of brainstorming and had several ugly versions.
  2. Since 2002, the inception of my company, the logo remained the same (except the first 6 months), only the colours changed from blue to green to red to orange.

  1. I really like the two colour butterfly symbol. It has a really nice simplicity to it. Using only two colours also gives the design a strong and bold appearance. The name is also really cool. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and keep up the excellent work.
