I needed a click tracking plugin for Roo Framework (currently used by Roo Link Directory) and these are the only available click tracking plugins. Either using AJAX, a separate table or redirection, on-site click tracking is not a good idea. There’s Google Analytics for this.
This plugin counts user clicks on all external links via AJAX. By default, all external links (
target="_blank") will be counted. In addition, there are top reports available in the administration area.
This plugin counts clicks on your files (download counter) or on any links.
This click tracker plugin works in 2 modes: 1. Scans posts and rewrites them to include a tracking element and 2. Enables users to create stand alone trackable links that can be embedded in posts or offsite.
So, no click tracking for Roo Link Directory.
