getButterfly Logo getButterfly code wrangling since 2005

As you’re getting used to it, I sometimes write a “Link Of The Day” or “Link Of The Week” article. Well, this week’s link is SimplePie. Recently updated to 1.1.1 “Blackberry” version, it is currently working on my cgGiant and Club Politica blogs.

SimplePie is a very fast and easy-to-use class, written in PHP, that puts the “simple” back into “really simple syndication”. Flexible enough to suit beginners and veterans alike, SimplePie is focused on speed, ease of use, compatibility and standards compliance.

  1. Thanks, I just visited your site, I really like your motto, it look a bit “star-wars-ish” – damn, what a word – 10k in a week, it’s like, 10k visitors? 10k national country financial units? what 10k? It’s impossible anything it’d be. Wow.

  2. Thanks, Chip! That gives me a great idea — theme my blog more Star Wars like. That would fit the sci-fi/fantasy interests and make it more “sticky” so people will remember it. Luke is my actual name in real life, BTW.

On another note, I noticed your site is a comparatively huge source of traffic for me. You must have a lot of people who click the top commentor!

  3. Thanks Luke, but pay attention! The Top Commentators plugin resets each month. Tomorrow is the 1st of April. I’m waiting you next month, too. There are some modifications to the blog in progress.
