Radio ProjectI’m working on a super-secret radio project, and I need a sleek audio player. Playlist should be manual, all I need is a barebone player with volume control. I plan to use an HTML5 compatible player with jQuery backend and, maybe, Flash fallback.

After some digging, I found 3 worthy players: – easy to skin, easy to the eye, and easy to use. This is my first choice. – again, a player with playlist and basic controls. It has some issues in Mozilla Firefox, but the author says .ogg files should work just fine. – this player seems to be the most widespread one, however, the size and supported audio formats are a let down for me.

I haven’t decided yet for a player, I’d have to test them all on the site with some custom audio tracks to see how they behave.
