getButterfly Logo getButterfly code wrangling since 2005

My loyal readers, this article is a plea for help. I tried installing WordPress MU and LifeType on one of my domains. I failed. The server encountered problems and/or erroneous behaviour.

What I want to ask you is, I need an idea, what subject might be interesting and profitable in the same time? I was thinking of a blog network, something like BlogCatalog or MyBlogLog. Maybe we do something together here. I’m looking forward to your answers.

  1. Something like MyBlogLog will certainly be of a good idea. That site is almost defunct. It has lost out to a lot of other sites which offer regular content, exchange of ideas etc. You can indeed focus on a regional community with topics of general interest.

I am glad that you have been able to instal the WP etc. I was about to tell you that I had no problems!

  2. It was my host’s fault. But in the end it all turned out great. No. GREAT! I now have a fresh blog community, regional, but I intend to turn it into the only one in my country. Big dreams, huh? ;)

  3. I have been struggling on how to impliment and idea. Maybe you would like to take this on.

Google likes to see “one way” links more than reciprical links. I reason that three blogs could share one way links in the form of a triangle from blog A to blog B and then from blog B to blog C and then finally from blog C back to blog A.

Maybe you could form a site that helps establish these triangular links for the users similar to an EntreCard or Site Hoppin service.

    What do you think?
