getButterfly Logo getButterfly code wrangling since 2005

Wandering through the web I came across a user saying that the web is full of “Top Ten” lists, lists of every imaginable and unimaginable subjects in the world. Is this a strategy somehow to attract more visitors? Top Ten list about [my subject here] you didn’t know: is this so full of mistery that it makes you click? I fell into many of those traps, just to find some compiled stuff from several sources. 9 out of 10 lists are crap, only one may be indeed good for someone at a given time.

It’s just a web phase, that’s all. With time, it will grow old and it will perish. No one will care anymore about ten things about this, or ten things about that. Not even variations, like 12 things, or Top 15 thinks you did know, but what the hell, read ’em again.
