I pivoted.
I stopped doing freelance web development and started focusing on an older side project of mine, growth hacking and CRO (conversion rate optimisation).
There comes a time when one needs to evaluate their priorities in life. I used to know someone who did the same and retired from software development and switched to content marketing and copywriting. It’s easier. Less hassle, less deadlines, more motivation and enthusiasm. I like helping web businesses grow and improve their conversions. It’s an old passion of mine, started when I built my first client’s site.
Back then, in that corner of the world, web developers were full-stack developers. Period. No one was focusing on one discipline only. It wasn’t viable.
So there I am now, 20 years later, growing this little seed. I do freelance CRO, growth hacking, digital marketing strategies, A/B testing and content marketing consulting. I’m currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
