Active Contacts · Unlimited Websites · a simple CRM for WordPress
The enquiry nobody answered was your next customer
Active Contacts keeps every enquiry from your website in one place, shows you who has been answered and who has not, and sends the follow-up you keep meaning to send.
✓ No monthly fee ✓ Your list stays on your website ✓ Works on your current hosting ✓ Every feature included
The problem
Three ways enquiries quietly go missing

They land in four places
Website forms, WhatsApp, phone calls and chat never talk to each other. Nobody knows how many enquiries you really had last month.

Nobody follows up
The second email, a week later, is the one that wins the work. It is also the one that almost never gets sent.

Your list is not really yours
It lives on one laptop, or behind a monthly login that costs more as your list grows.
What it does
Everything you need to stop losing enquiries
Nine tools that work together, all from one menu inside the website you already log in to.

Contacts
Everyone who ever got in touch, on one screen.
✓ Their full history, oldest to newest
✓ Notes, labels and your own fields
✓ Shop customers added from WooCommerce
✓ Duplicates spotted and merged

Forms
A working contact form the moment you switch it on.
✓ Paste one short code into any page
✓ Obvious spam blocked for you
✓ Works with Gravity Forms

Follow-up
Write the email once. It sends itself, on time.
✓ Starts from a form, chat or first order
✓ Waits, labels and reminders
✓ Stops the moment they reply

Jobs
A simple board showing which jobs will really happen.
✓ Drag from New enquiry to Won
✓ See what each column is worth
✓ Owners, tasks and due dates

Chat
Answers your five usual questions while you sleep.
✓ Buttons you write yourself
✓ Optional AI assistant
✓ Every chat becomes a contact

For people who would rather message than fill in a form.
✓ A number for each department
✓ Messages saved on their record

Newsletter
Email the list you already own, from your own website.
✓ Sign-up form for any page
✓ One-click unsubscribe that works

Visitors
See which pages someone read before they got in touch.
✓ Your own pages only
✓ Old history tidied up for you

Team
Everyone sees their own enquiries. The boss sees them all.
✓ Nobody rings the same person twice
✓ Grows from one person to five
It stops when they reply. One click on their record cancels the rest of the follow-up, so nobody gets a chasing email after they have already said yes.
Works with

In plain English
Active Contacts or a monthly CRM?
A CRM is just a list of everyone who got in touch and what happened next. For a small business, the monthly kind mostly buys you a login page.
| A monthly CRM | Active Contacts | |
|---|---|---|
| Where your list lives | Their servers, behind a login | Your own website |
| What it costs | Every month, rising as your list grows | €79 a year, however big your list gets |
| Getting your list out | An export, if they offer one | A spreadsheet, whenever you like |
| Another login | Yes | No. It is a menu in your website |
| If you stop paying | You usually lose access | It keeps working |
Good to know
What it does not do
✕ Order history. WooCommerce customers become contacts, but order details stay in your shop.
✕ Invoices or quotes. It tracks what a job is worth, not the paperwork.
✕ Text messages. Email, chat and WhatsApp only.
✕ Sales floors. No call recording, targets or territories.
It is built for teams of one to five people who need to stop losing enquiries.
About two minutes
Up and running in three steps
01
Switch it on
Install it like any other plugin. A form, a label and a job board are made for you.
02
Add your form
Paste the ready-made form’s short code into your contact page, then send yourself a test.
03
Write one follow-up
Tell it to send three days after someone enquires. That is a working setup.
Chat, WhatsApp and newsletters can wait until you feel like it.
Questions
Before you buy
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can add a page to your website, you can run this. There is a plain-English guide built in and a help tab on every screen.
Is there an account or subscription?
No. Nothing to sign up for and nothing phoning home.
Where is my customer list kept?
In your own website, alongside your pages. Nothing about your customers is sent anywhere else.
Will it slow my website down?
No. Most of it only runs when you are logged in. Visitors only load the parts you have switched on.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes. Customers become contacts once their order is paid, and their first order can start a follow-up, for example asking for a review two weeks later.
Can I bring in my existing contacts?
Yes, from a spreadsheet. And you can export back to a spreadsheet whenever you like.
Do I have to use the AI part?
No. The chat works fully without it, and the AI option stays off until you want it.
How many people can use it?
As many as your website has. Each person sees their own contacts, and an administrator sees everyone’s.
What happens when my licence runs out?
The plugin keeps working exactly as it did. You just stop getting support until you renew.
What if I remove the plugin?
Your data stays put, so reinstalling picks up where you left off. There is a setting if you would rather it cleaned up completely.
