Active Analytics has been published on Envato!
I wrote above Active Analytics a few days ago and explained what it is and how it evolved. After almost a year of being available for purchase on our site, it is now available on Envato’s CodeCanyon for a lower price, €19.99.
The latest update brings more speed by removing several actions performed for every pageview/impression. I have specifically avoided JavaScript and opted for a cached SQL query as it is faster from a user point of view. Although I’m still considering an AJAX approach, making the SQL request asynchronous, it’s still far away on the roadmap.
Active Analytics is a privacy-oriented analytics solution, similar to Jetpack’s Site Stats, but without the offsite element, meaning all data is stored locally, on your site, in your MySQL database.
Here’s the latest changes:

* FIX: Switched on strict mode for ES scripts
